KOCH CARBON NAMES NEW PRESIDENT

Company announces leadership change.


WICHITA, Kan. – Steve Tatum has been named president of Koch Carbon, LLC, a subsidiary of Koch Mineral Services, LLC. Tatum replaces Jeff Gentry, who will remain president of Koch Mineral Services and is also executive vice president and board member of Koch Industries, Inc.

Koch Carbon, based here, has global trading and marketing interests in petroleum coke, coal, salt slag, cement, clinker, ocean freight, and other related commodities. Koch Carbon companies own and operate a network of large bulk terminals in the United States and Venezuela, transport commodities via ocean vessel, barge, rail and truck, and provide custom blending, screening and crushing of various commodities.

Tatum began his career at Koch in 1983 as a marketing representative for Koch Carbon. Previously, Tatum led the natural gas liquids businesses that were recently sold. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and is a native of Oklahoma City.

Koch Carbon, LLC,s a subsidiary of Koch Mineral Services, LLC, trades, handles and transports more than 30 million metric tons of commodities annually.
